Hello my friends... SNOW card Swap...

Wow just a few days left in November.. Where did 2011 go? I spent last night at the ER in Upland with my dad.. We are all home now and I've just completed this card for a CARD swap I joined tonight.

I'm excited for the organizer to get me the address to send these cards off..

The theme is SNOW ~

I've used a Sizzix tri-fold card die and two stamps for which I stamped in Silver and white and embossed in winter sparkle powder.. I've used a card font for the sentiment and a sheer ribbon to glam up the card..

I found these great Silver boxes perfect for A2 cards and couldn't resist.. Now to wait until DEC 25th in anticipation of my recipients reaction... I'm excited.. I decided to share them here since she has no access to the net or this blog.. <3

I'd appreciate any feedback...

all there is left to do is add tissue and seal the box... My first gift is complete.. Have a wonderful evening. <3 Liz

Stampendous Chipboard Challenge Card #2

I have been inspired... My 2nd submission for the challenge is a card using all Stampendous 1991 series stamps.. Victoria Rose, Ivy Leaf and Long Thank You... I've also used Sizzix-TSOL Fancy Frame dies in two sizes..

I used a Red Card stock for the card base and a Black card stock to cut the largest Fancy Frame with my BIG Kick by Sizzix, I then used a white covered piece of Chipboard for my White Fancy Frame and stamped the roses and leaves. I embossed them using diamond sparkle powder and colored them in with chalk. I stamped the thank you and assembled the card for a Fancy and quick THANK YOU card.. I hope you all like it..

Stampendous Chipboard Challenge...

I am excited to share a card I created specifically for Stampendous.. I have discovered a box of older stamps and am so happy to bring them back to life...
the 5x5 card is made using a lt blue cardstock. I created the sizzix frame using a piece of white chipboard covered in a floral paper. The frame was glued on surrounding the Stampendous stamp (your sunny smile- 1991) and embellished with (bold daisy bouquet 1992) .. I added a sheer white ribbon on top to add a dainty touch..
I hope you enjoy this one...

Christmas Kreation # 2

I love designing and had an idea and put it to life.. I believe this will be one of my Christmas cards..

All dies and stamps are by The Stamps of Life company.. Love it...

Where's the Storm?

Hi All,
Well here in So. Cal we were expecting a huge storm and as of yet we have not even a sprinkle in the High Desert. I was planning on an indoor evening with my new stamps from The Stamps of Life.. and some HOT Chai Tea.. I'm trying to come up with ideas for the Christmas Cards I'm mailing out December 1st. As soon as I have a design I love I'll make 50 cards and get them ready for the mailman.

I will use my evening to KREATE and have some fun.. I have two children in the house this weekend.. It's noisy, exciting and so exhausting...

I hope your week has been a wonderful one.. 11/11/11 Is a lucky day indeed..

Love and Hugs...

Love of Owls

Owls are so fun and versatile.. They can be used to make cards for females and males alike.. If you are looking for a fun way to use to use this great animal here is one card bringing in some fun eliments.

The products used ~ The Stamps of Life.com (owls2love set) Sizzix (zig zag 3-D pop up, and  owl

I stamped the base on Kraft paper, then used pattern paper to make a low border. I cut a circle and stamped the large OWL from thestampsoflife.com  and added a sentiment from the same set and a green ribbon for flair. The inside of the card features 2 Dies from Sizzix. The Owls pop off the page

Happy Creating,

Walk to End Alzheimer's 2011

I created this Thank you card using Cuttlebug embossing A2 die  "Thanks" and Sizzix Originals "Tipsy Hearts die " The theme color for Alzheimer's awareness is PURPLE so I wanted to design special Thank you cards for each participant and donator to the cause.. My team recieved these cards with details for the event.

I embossed the white card stock with the THANKS embossing envelope and cut it to size and mounted it with double stick tape. I then cut out dark purple hearts and attached them for a simple clean design. I colored in the main THANKS with a Purple Sharpie to make the work pop!

First POST ever..

I'm excited to Kreate my first post for my very own blog.. I find that Stamping and Scrapbooking is such a release for me. I love that I am bringing SNAIL mail back to my inner circle and beyond.  I have the most supportive and amazing man who loves me and my Kreativity. Paul has helped me organize my own work area in our home and I can freely Kreate and enjoy all my tools and stamps. I encourage you to follow my Blog and join my journey as I Kreate and get inspired...

This card was created using a Sizzix die for the card ( Ornate Scallop) and two stamp sets from The Stamps of Life. (coffee4two and Owls2love) I made my own tag and sentiment. I absolutely LOVE these two companies and you will see many designs using their products..
