Hi Everyone,

I'm so excited to share with you today.. I'd like to challenge you to create Simple and Elegant Thank You's..

January is here and what better way to start the year than to say Thank you for those special gifts just recieved, or a simple Thank you for your friendship.

I've created a Thank you using an 8.5 x 11 sheet of Kraft paper cut in half and stamped a Thanks using a Lovely Labels stamp from THE CRAFT'S MEOW and the sentiment is from PAPER SMOOCHES Chit Chat set.. After Stamping both in Black, I used a Spellbinder's Labels 18 to cut the image out.. This was all done in 3 easy steps. I added the red ribbon for a splash of color, mounted the die cut image with mounting tape and the card was complete. 

Here's your challenge should you chose to play along. Create a Thank you using die cuts and ribbon for a quick elegant design. Add your card to the linky tool and I will choose a winner on Saturday January 7th. The announcement will be made by Monday the 9th.

The prize you will be creating for is a roll of my fave Sugar n Spice ribbon.. I will get you a great color for future creations...

Have fun ladies, I can't wait to see what you come up with...

Hello friends, I've had a busy day and realized I never added a card to the Stamps of Life Challenge for Dec.. I only had until tomorrow.. I created a card using her Froggy2love stamp set theme and added a sentiment from her labels2use set.. I love TSOL.. Here's my card..
I think this card was inspired by my friend Lillie.. She has passed away and today is her birthday.. As I look at this card now, I realize how much we both loved frogs (frog to prince thingy) and smile because I randomly chose BE HAPPY for my sentiment.. Today was a bitter sweet day but now I see this and can only smile because my BFF is still with me always...

Stampendous Color Challenge..

Hi friends,
I'm such a girly girl, so when I read Stampendous was having a color challenge with Pink, Cream, Gold and Brown I jumped right on it... I love these colors.. I made the following card and will be submitting it tonight..

I used all 4 colors and had so much fun.. The Ranunculus field was stamped in a dark pink and I shaded the leaves in a gold metalic chalk.. The pattern paper is CTMH and is in pink, cream and brown..

It's raining here in Hesperia, CA.. I love it.. Yesterday was a very chilly day and I filled it with making a Christmas gift box of Thank you cards .. I was going to post them but just realized the recipient may have access to see this.. LOL oh darn!

I've joined a fabulous group called The Outlaws and am entering a challenge for today.. The theme is Christmas Ornaments.. I'm excited and a bit nervous.. I hope my Kreation fits the challenge specifications.. I think it does..

let me know what you think... I've embossed my angel stamp in gold pigment ink and shaded in the body with a pale pink chalk.. The ornament was mounted with 3D mounting tape for depth..

Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge for 12/1-12/14 2011

I'm so excited to share my Challenge entry for Paper Smooches.. This is a fantastic stamp company with great sets and possibilities.

The Challenge is to focus on a theme of colors, die cut frames etc. The picture posted by the company for inspiration was..

I tried incorporating the wall and frames by using pattern paper for wall paper and a sizzix frame in textured paper for the 3D frame.. the inside of the card has a digi flower set and the bottom sentiment is also paper smooches..
